FIELD OFFICE MANAGER JOB DUTIES

Field office manager ensures that all field operations are being coordinated and organized properly.

He/she will be responsible for overseeing overall field office services and the routine functions related to the field and office duties.

The field office manager is responsible for maintaining rapport with the field staff members as well as with corporate office, outside agencies, and vendors. He/she is responsible for making sure that the field staff members accomplish their tasks in a timely manner and that it is in accordance with the established rules and regulations. Handles all the incoming and outgoing calls and answers them, handles the correspondence, prepares the relevant paper work, etc. He/she is responsible for making sure that all the payments are being processed within the allotted time, and that the relevant invoices have been generated appropriately.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should have excellent organizational skills and have an attention to detail with high levels of accuracy. Problem solving, analytical skills, management skills and excellent communication skills are required.

PLANNER JOB PURPOSE

Safely and conscientiously handles utility line clearance related duties.  Ensures crews work safely and efficiently in accordance with production goals and client expectations.

PLANNER JOB DUTIES

  • Ensure crews operate with main focus on climber and co-worker safety
  • Read and analyze topographical maps,  offer value-added solutions as required
  • Facilitate quality relationships  and communication with clients, the general public,  Zielies staff, and inspection personnel
  • Keeps General Manager informed of job progress, concerns, and quality control

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s  license, CDL and Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License a plus.  We will train for the right candidate.  Must be comfortable working with climbing equipment, chainsaws, chippers, and bucket trucks.   In addition, candidates with the following experience and character traits will be given top priority:  History of safe work practices, excellent organizational skills,  tree climbing, saw operation, customer service, computer communication, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.  ISA Certification, Prior First Aid and EHAP a plus.

OTHER

  • Successful candidates will be operating in environments that require good physical strength, flexibility, and endurance. Additionally, your ability to problem solve and  manage relationships with co-workers, clients, and the general public are highly valued characteristics.  Excellent interpersonal skills are a requirement for this positon.

TREE TRIMMER JOB PURPOSE

Safely and conscientiously handles utility line clearance related duties

TREE TRIMMER JOB DUTIES

  • Climbing trees, with main focus on climber and co-worker safety
  • Cut away branches to maintain right of way for roads, utilities, or  for appearances
  • Operate shredding equipment, feed brush into machines
  • Line clearance of downed trees, danger tree removal, nuisance branches

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
